With almost two centuries of existence, UPB represents the fundamental and most prestigious institution of technical higher education in Romania, being the main source of technical specialists and best school of engineering in our country.
University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest includes 15 faculties & 2 departments, providing training for more than 23,000 students by means of a teaching staff consisting in more than 1,500 professors and researchers.
Academic programs:
- Bachelor of Science programs in 17 major fields and more than 70 distinct specializations, with a duration of 4 Years
- Master of Science programs in more than 170 specializations, with a duration of 2 Years
- Ph.D. degrees in 14 fields of Engineering Sciences, with a duration of 3 Years
Role in the project
UPB is the leader for the WP9 where it will develop Pilot Planning, Methodology and Guidelines and Pilot & Demonstration database. It will also take part in the WP 2 where it will participate in the Demonstration Scenarios, Evaluation Strategies.
