Role in the project
Schneider will participate in use case 3 (Protecting the Renewables Energy Chain from Cyberattacks and Data Leaking) where it will provide for the pilot its substation automation system based on RTU-gateway, bay control units and other IED elements that may be required, communicating via IEC 61850 or other protocols and enhanced with the new cybersecurity capabilities developed in the project. These devices play a key role in the substation automation domain, being able to perform monitoring, communication and control functions.
