Profile
MINDS is the first spin-off of the University of Western Macedonia, Kozani, Greece stemming from two H2020 projects namely SPEAR (787011) and SDN-microSENSE (833955). MINDS delivers digital services, software and tools in internet of things, cybersecurity, user privacy, critical infrastructure protection, and smart farming domains. MINDS solutions are changing the way work gets done in the next generation internet of things landscape to support the digitization of critical infrastructures and modern society.
Role in the project
MINDS will support ELECTRON in cybersecurity, privacy, honeypot development, and federated learning models, while leading Task 4.3 (AI-assisted IDPS Using Federated Learning). MINDS brings the Federated BOX (F-BOX) which is a federated solution for detecting and discriminating against various kinds of cyberattacks. MINDS will contribute to the technical management of ELECTRON and to all the ELECTRON’s use cases, by deploying, testing, and demonstrating the ELECTRON’s components in the pilot sites.
